Care Baskets for Older Adults

Care Baskets for Older Adults

Please help the Oak Lawn Public Library support older adults returning home from hospital or rehabilitation stays by donating new items from the list below. OLPL staff will create the care baskets and donate them to Pathlights for distribution to those in the community. Donations can be brought to the Customer Services desk.

Requested donation items include:

  • $5 Walgreens or CVS gift cards
  • Lip balm
  • Hand cream
  • Adult Coloring Books
  • Colored Pencils
  • Activity books (Word Search, Sudoku, etc)
  • Stamps
  • Note cards and envelopes
  • Socks
  • Blankets
  • Stress Balls
  • Fidget Toys
