Are You Somebody?: the Accidental Memoir of a Dublin Woman by Nuala O'Faolain

A thoughtful, reflective and often poetic recounting pf growing up in Dublin by a natural storyteller. Hers was a full, sometimes difficult life, but she learned to value what she has and who she has become. Some of it is sad and some is funny – but it is an honest and true book about life in Ireland.

"O’Faolain lived and then chronicled her life in Ireland from the 1950s through the 1990s. There is an emphasis on the role of women and the extraordinary social changes occurring in Ireland in a few decades. O’Faolain worked in journalism, radio and television and was eminently qualified to comment on the Irish culture in the 20th century." - Kathy
