EVERYTHING IRISH
The Weir by Conor McPherson
A play set in rural Ireland where the pub plays a central role in people's lives. Ghost stories start being told in an effort to impress a visitor from Dublin.
“I chose this play because I like ghost stories and the Irish are great at telling them. Another reason is the evocation of the pub as a great place for gossip and comradery. The attempt to impress a big city visitor shows the gulf between the rural and city population. I enjoyed this play!” – Kathy
