A Drinking Life: a Memoir by Pete Hamill

Pete Hamill is a well-known journalist. He was born in Brooklyn in the 1930s to Irish immigrant parents. His autobiography is a look at New York in the early 20th century. It is also an account of one man’s journey to sobriety.

“Biographies are very popular among readers. I chose this book because Mr. Hamill is a wonderful writer portraying an honest, no holds-barred look at his life.” – Kathy

Books will be available on the "Read Gather Discuss" display in the lobby approximately one month before the discussion.
