HYBRID EVENT (In-Person or Online) Pathlights Medicare Series Part 3: How Medicare and Medicaid work together
Attendees will learn how Medicare and Medicaid plans work independently, or in some cases together through the Medicare Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) plan. MMAI can provide more comprehensive coverage to those eligible. A Pathlights Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselor will explain program qualifications and important considerations when evaluating health plan needs. Caregivers, adults with disabilities, Medicaid enrollees and Medicare enrollees are encouraged to participate. Presentation by Christine Suddreth, Community Relations Specialist for Pathlights.
For more than 45 years, Pathlights has been helping guide adults 60 years of age and over, adults with disabilities, their caregivers, families, and friends along their best path to aging. OLPL is fortunate to be partnering with the organization to bring two of their highly specialized team members to the library in a Caregiver Series and a Medicare Series this fall.
